Housing Forum to address challenges related to housing

Kenora District Housing Strategy is hosting a Housing Forum that will feature guests presenters discussing challenges related to housing.

KENORA—The Kenora District Housing Strategy wants residents in the region to know about how communities in Ontario, the region, Manitoba and across Canada is addressing the challenges related to housing.

It is hosting a “Housing Forum” virtually on ZOOM on May 25, 2022, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

During this forum Housing Forum speakers will include, Jacqueline Evans, Modular Consultant Affordable Housing at NRB Modular Solutions,who will speak on Modular building solutions and housing affordability, Melissa Stone, Coordinator of Astum Api Niikinaahk and Amoowigamig, who will focus on Indigenous-Led housing projects,and Adian Dingle, director of Housing Development for Raising the Roof Canada, who will talk about the Reside Program.

According to this announcement, the municipality indicated that the webinar will be recorded and available for viewing at a later date.
