FORT FRANCES — A weekend fire appears to have destroyed a houseboat on Rainy Lake.
According to the Rainy River detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, it was notified just after 11:00 a.m. Saturday about a fire at Goose Portage.
OPP said local fire services also responded to the incident.
No one was on board at the time the fire broke out, and nobody was injured.
