SACHIGO LAKE FIRST NATION — A house has been declared a total loss following a fire on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters were on the scene already when members of the Sachigo Lake First Nation Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) detachment arrived at the scene on the blaze on Pine Road.
According to NAPS the cause of the fire does not appear to be criminal in nature.
Two residents living in the house, along with a dog and cat, escaped the fire without any injuries.
