DRYDEN – Present by George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation and sponsored by Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel and Conference Centre, the charity goal classic will be hosted by Krista McCarville Curling Rink which will begin the event with a shot gun at 10 a.m.
“We are thrilled to have the Krista McCarville Rink as our Home Town Heroes – so deserving!” “We are also so grateful to Norm and Lorraine Bevilacqua, owners of the Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel & Conference Centre, for always keeping our children and youth close to their hearts and coming back as the tournament’s title sponsor!” says Cindy Levanto, executive director of the Foundation.
However, before the golfers take to the green, at 8 a.m. Daytona’s Restaurant will be providing everyone with a continental breakfast.
Levanto adds, “All funds raised through this event will support the programs and services provided at George Jeffrey Children’s Centre. This past year, almost 3,000 children and youth throughout Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario received support from our Centre”.
The golf classic will be an 18 hole-scramble, but golfers will also be able to participate in many fun-filled contests and activities throughout the day.
As golfers finished their round, their scores will be tallied and the winners will be announced at the after-party dinner.
The after-party will also have a live and silent auction, a special guest speaker, and a celebration of Dryden’s Hometown Heroes.
