Highway 17 rollover leads to careless driving charge

A trucker was charged after a collision near English River.

IGNACE — Ontario Provincial Police have charged a truck driver with careless driving following a collision on Highway 17 near English River.

A tractor trailer went out of control and overturned Sunday evening in Cathcart Township.

Police said there were no injuries.

Photos posted on social media by OPP show the vehicle on its side, badly damaged, with its front axle and wheels detached.

A 25-year-old man from Guelph was charged.
