IGNACE — Highway 17 near Mameigwess Lake Road is fully closed in both directions due to a forest fire.
The Ministry of Transportation is urging people to use caution in the area.
It is unknown when the highway will re-open.
UPDATE: The West bound lane has been reopened as of 4:54 p.m. The East bound lane is still blocked.
