A collision has closed a section of the Trans Canada Highway east of Dryden.
The highway had been closed between Dryden and Shabaqua for multiple hours on Friday following the morning incident. The Ontario 511 online map shows the highway has mostly been reopened, except for a smaller section just east of the city.
A provincial police spokesperson said emergency services responded to a serious collision just outside of Dryden.
Environment Canada had issued a winter storm warning for the area, cautioning that there may be heavy and blowing snow which will affect visibility.
