THUNDER BAY — The Ministry of Transportation announced that Highway 11/17 was temporarily closed in both directions late Monday morning just east of Shabaqua.
The MTO reported a collision on the highway near Bylunds Pit Road.
According to Ontario Provincial Police, one person was injured in a single-vehicle collision and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
OPP were on the scene and traffic control was in place.
At 1:28 pm, Ontario511 was no longer listing the incident as a road closure.
