ATIKOKAN — Ontario Provincial Police say one person suffered serious injuries in a collision Tuesday afternoon on Highway 11 west of Atikokan.
The victim, who was driving the vehicle and was the sole occupant, was taken to hospital with what police describe as life-threatening injuries.
The collision forced the complete closure of the highway in the Flanders Road area, and the road wasn't fully reopened until 1:00 am Wednesday.
No other details of the incident have been made available by police as yet.
