FORT FRANCES—Fort Frances Muskies came through recently to help their community.

Grade 7 students of Fort Frances High School helped with sandbagging at Couchiching and the Fort Frances Public works yard.

They each showed great community spirit and experienced a great sense of pride and accomplishment.

School staff thanked their students and so did the City of Fort Frances.

The city website shared their reaction to students helping out that day. “Thank you to Mr. Ogden, Mrs. Petsnick and the Grade 7’s from Fort Frances High School for coming to help make sandbags.”

The willingness of these students willing to come out and help with this initiative, demonstrates their true understanding of what community stewardship entails.
