KENORA – Advertisement is everywhere. And after two years of backyard staycations, the best way to tell the public that the city is open for business, the Kenora council needed to make the city shine once again.

Over 100 new street pole banners will sport the colourful Kenora brand this summer to catch the eye of patrons ready to tour the city’s eclectic tourist destinations.

“This is a great way to celebrate and showcase the new tourism brand in the Harbourtown Centre,” says Mayor Daniel Reynard.

In addition to designing the new destination tourism brand, Wake Marketing has been engaged to deliver the banner initiative.

We are very excited to see the new banners throughout the downtown and we are pleased to work with the City of Kenora on this beautification project,” said Rob Dokuchie, Harbourtown BIZ President.

The installation project is anticipated to be completed next week.
