DRYDEN — The Dryden Ice Dogs and Thunder Bay North Stars will have to wait a day to resume their playoff match-up.

The Ice Dogs announced Game 5 of the Superior International Junior Hockey League semifinal series, which had been slated for Monday night, has been pushed back to Tuesday due to weather conditions.

The Ice Dogs, who have a 3-1 series lead, are one win away from advancing to the league final after winning Games 3 and 4 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay. The winner of the series will battle the Kam River Fighting Walleye for the Bill Salonen Cup.

Highway 17 has been closed between Shabaqua and Dryden throughout the morning on Monday due to poor weather conditions.
