Frost advisory in effect for parts of the region

NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO -- Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for parts of the region.

The government weather agency says temperatures near freezing are expected to continue early Wednesday morning. Temperatures will increase within the next few hours.

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

  • Upsala - Raith
  • Ignace - English River
  • Ear Falls - Perrault Falls - Western Lac Seul
  • Red Lake - Woodland Caribou Park
  • Savant Lake - Sturgeon Lake
  • Sioux Lookout - Eastern Lac Seul
