KENORA – The battleground was set as soon as the engines fired in the WISSOTA Pure Stocks feature with Alex Mira, Michael Copp, Alexander Farr and even Logan McDonald fighting for the lead throughout the race.

Eventually, Mira found a foothold further up the track and headed up the race side by side with Copp.

However, it was Mira who took his first feature win at the track in 2022, third overall.

In the Q104 WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, Keelan Hall started took an early lead.

The car was looking really good, but Brandon Rehill gained momentum and was right on him after making a pass on the outside of Patrick Davis.

Rehill, then, set his eyes on the lead position. After a tussle with Jesse Thompson, Rehill got stuck behind while Hall was forced in between.

Then, Rehill pulled out in front pulling away his third victory in a row at the track.

The 4-Cylinder feature had its share of excitement as well as attrition.

Zachary Valiquette, back from an upsetting disqualification due to car troubles, drove a good race.

With such a low point average, he was able to take the number one spot for the feature which would be his first feature win in this event.

Meanwhile, past winners, Jake Mazur and Brodie Mcgowan had ta late start seventh and eighth, but after some amazing maneuvering, they place second and third by the end.

Eventually, there would be a few red flags due to accidents, including one involving Rookie George Henley Jr., Re-Rookie Bruce Berringer, and Mercedes Audette.

Racing returns on July 30 and July 31st for the Dinner Jacket Classic Series and Bruce Krawicki Memorial.
