DRYDEN — OPP have laid drug-trafficking charges and other charges against four individuals following the execution of a search warrant in Zealand Township (Wabigoon) on Tuesday.
Officers found suspected illicit drugs, and further evidence of drug trafficking, in a residence on Wellington Street.
The seized drugs included cocaine, fentanyl and oxycodone.
The accused include a 31-year-old man from Ajax, a 56-year-old man from Wabigoon, a 33-year-old woman from Wabigoon, and a 35-year-old woman from Ignace.
Both women were also charged with failure to comply with a probation order.
Three of the accused were remanded into custody pending a court appearance Friday in Dryden, while the fourth was released pending a court appearance in early January.
