A Fort Frances resident faces impaired driving charges following a collision Monday afternoon.

FORT FRANCES – A two vehicle collision east of Fort Frances has resulted in impaired driving charges for one man.

According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, Rainy River OPP received a report on Monday, March 14 around 1:40 p.m. of a two vehicle collision on Kingsway 11 near Five Mile Dock Road.

As a result of an investigation, a 39-year-old of Fort Frances was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80) plus.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on April 25 to answer to the charges.
