Fort Frances resident charged for uttering threats

Rainy River OPP has arrested and charged a resident following an incident at a local grocery store in Fort Frances.

FORT FRANCES – According to OPP Northwest Region, on the evening of June 10 officers with the Rainy River District OPP detachment responded to an incident at a local grocery store where an individual verbally threatened an employee.

As a result, a 24-year-old from Fort Frances has been arrested and charged with uttering threats involving death or bodily harm.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in July.
