Fort Frances expresses intent to adopt 2022 budget

FORT FRANCES—The Municipality of Fort Frances made their intent to adopt the Supported 2022 Budget, known to the public.

This announcement was provided by Gabrielle Lecuyer, AOMC Municipal Clerk.

They informed their residents last week that by the “requirements of Bylaw No. 64/02, Council of the Corporation of the Town of Fort Frances as its meeting to be held on Monday, April 11 following the Committee of the Whole meeting held virtually, intends to adopt the Corporation of the Town of Fort Frances 2022 Budget.”

City council added that Committee of the Whole meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on that day.

Any resident who wishes to see the virtual agenda meeting and other documents related to the budget can do so on the town’s website by April 8 at 4:30 p.m.

The mayor and council invite residents to attend or join virtually to hear a presentation by administration and to make written or oral presentations to council, to either support or in opposition to the budget proposal.
