KENORA -- Kenora residents are being asked to avoid a section of First Avenue South due to pothole work.
City officials say First Avenue South between Third Street South and Fourth Street South is closed to traffic on Thursday for pothole work.
Emergency vehicles and buses are permitted through the work area.
The road is expected to reopen by early Thursday afternoon.
