THUNDER BAY - A BC man is facing criminal charges as a result of a fatal collision in January of last year.
Emergency crews responded to a collision on Highway 17 in Upsala on Jan. 24, 2024, around 11 p.m.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene and two people were injured and taken to the hospital.
Dhampal Singh, 30, of Abbotsford, BC, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
He is expected to appear in court in Thunder Bay on Friday.
None of the allegations against the accused have been proven in court.
