EAR FALLS – Now that Ontario is moving into the Exit Phase of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen, modifications to Ear Falls COVID-19 operating procedures are underway to reflect the province’s vaccination efforts by acknowledging the lifting of mask mandates in public spaces.
However, the township also wants the community to know that municipal facilities still require physical distancing and masks when entering the municipal office, which is open to the public during regular hours of operation. Council meetings are being held in person again, and the public is encouraged to join.
Recreation facilities are also open for public use.
These facilities include: the Recreation Centre and KinFit Gym, Lion’s Park, Waterfront Park, Sportsplex (Ball field/Sliding Hill/Dog Park), Calvin Fulford Park and all boat launches (Dutchie’s Landing Road, Wenesaga and Lac Seul/Goldpines) are open. Ski-Trails at the Golf Course and off English River Road.
