Dryden Splash Pad is now open to the public

The splash park will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Victoria Day long weekend through to September 15th.

DRYDEN – After five months of planning and construction, the residents of Dryden have a new place to let their hair get wet.

The park is officially open as of today, Friday, August 19th. Afterwards, the community splash pad will be handed over to the City of Dryden to maintain.

The Dryden Community Splash Pad was funding by the Beyak Automotive Group.

“As we open the Dryden Community Splash Park, only a few short months after the idea’s inception, I am proud of the accomplishment and grateful to be surrounded by so many outstanding employees at the Beyak Automotive Group who helped make this happen. The entire organization is responsible for making this major community improvement a reality,” comments Beyak Automotive Group President, Nick Beyak. “I am also grateful to our thousands of customers. Without their strong support over the years, this splash park would not be possible. Lastly, I would like to thank the Staff and Council of the City of Dryden who has contributed greatly to the project’s completion. This park will bring happiness and joy to children and families for many years.”

During the opening ceremony, representatives from the City of Dryden and the Beyak Automotives Group were in attendance serving the community a barbeque lunch and proving child with fun actives.

“These investments and partnerships are very important, and we are most grateful to the Beyak Automotive Group for their substantial donation that not only invests in the City of Dryden, but the health, wellbeing and the enjoyment of our residents and visitors.” said Mayor Greg Wilson.
