Dryden school board election to be held in February

Dryden council approves bylaw to commence with English public school board trustee election in February.
Dryden

DRYDEN — An election to fill the position of trustee for the Dryden area on the Keewatin Patrica District School Board will take place in February.

Dryden city council on Monday unanimously passed a resolution, moving forward after the vote was discontinued during the municipal election campaign due to some voters being able to cast multiple ballots.

Dryden city clerk Allyson Euler had declared an election emergency under provincial election, after it was found that 380 people would have been able to vote more than once.

The election will be conducted through internet and telephone voting.
