Dryden school board election set to start next week

Voting for the English Public School Board trustee position in Dryden will begin on Jan. 30.
Dryden

DRYDEN — Voter information letters have been sent out ahead of the election for a Dryden school board trustee.

The election, which is a result of the previous vote being voided during the municipal election period, will take place with telephone and internet voting between Jan. 30 and Feb. 6.

The previous election was stopped after some electors were found to have received multiple voter information letters and could have cast more than one ballot.

The two people running for the trustee spot on the Keewatin Patricia District School Board are Barbara Gauthier and Judi Green.

A voting kiosk will also be set up at the entrance of city hall and will be accessible from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Feb. 6.
