Dryden residents face drug trafficking charges

DRYDEN – OPP in Dryden have laid drug trafficking charges against a pair of city residents.

In a release issued on Wednesday by police, OPP say they executed a search warrant on Monday at a Pine Crescent residence, seizing a quantity of suspected oxycodone, Canadian currency and other items associated with drug trafficking.

A 52-year-old and a 49-year-old were charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The accused, who police did not name, were released from custody and scheduled to appear in court again on March 25 in Dryden.
