DRYDEN — A local resident is facing drug charges after a recent bust.

Working together, the Dryden and Rainy River OPP, along with officers from Sioux Lookout, executed a search warrant at a home on Casimir Avenue in Dryden on April 10.

Officers seized what is believed to be cocaine and other items associated with drug trafficking.

A 34-year-old from Dryden was arrested and has been charged with possession of controlled substances and possession of proceeds of a crime under $5,000.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
