Dryden OPP officer loses wallet, badge

DRYDEN – Ontario Provincial Police in Dryden are asking the public for assistance to locate missing OPP property.

In a release issued on Wednesday, police say a wallet containing identification, along with a police badge, cannot be found.

Police said an officer responding to a call on Nov. 24, at approximately 11:35 a.m. in Dryden, lost the wallet in question.

The OPP is cautioning the public to be aware of the possibility of someone in the area using the badge while not in uniform, and if this occurs, to contact the Dryden detachment at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Crime Stoppers tips can also be submitted on-line at www.tipshelp.com.
