Dryden drug bust leads to three arrests

Dryden OPP and Treaty Three Police Services have arrested and charged three individuals for drug trafficking.

DRYDEN – After executing a search warrant at a residence on Memorial Avenue on March 6, officers found a quantity of fentanyl, morphine pills, oxycodone pills, Canadian currency, and evidence of drug trafficking, according to the OPP.

As a result, a 60-year-old, a 45-year-old, and a 44-year-old have been arrested and charged with three counts of drug trafficking and having money connected to crime.  

Additional obstructing police charges were also laid against the 60-year-old.

The 45-year-old was also charged with failing to comply with the release order and failing to comply with probation.

The accused individuals have been remanded into custody at the Kenora district jail.

They are scheduled to appear in court on March 11.
