DRYDEN - The city of Dryden is advising residents that hydrant flushing within the city will begin Thurs., Sept. 1 and it will take approximately six weeks to finish.
In the meantime, if residents notice that their water is murky or brown, please leave the cold tap running until the water runs clean.
This is sediment off the bottom of the pipes due to flushing.
