Drug trafficking charges laid in Kenora

One individual has been arrested and charged following a search warrant execution.

KENORA – According to OPP Northwest Region, Kenora OPP seized suspected illicit substances including fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine following a CDSA search warrant at a residence on Eleventh Avenue North on May 10.

The estimated street value of illicit substances seized is approximately $700,000.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old from Etobicoke was charged with three counts of drug trafficking and possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000.

The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the court at a later date.
