Driver lucky to escape injury in highway collision

OPP are looking to speak to the driver of a truck that was towing two empty log-hauling trailers on Highway 105.

DRYDEN — Ontario Provincial Police are trying to track down a logging truck involved in a collision Tuesday morning on Highway 105.

Police say the person driving the vehicle may not be aware the truck came into collision with an SUV north of Upper Falls Road in Machin Township.

"The driver of the SUV was lucky, and did not sustain any injuries," OPP said in a social media post.

A photo of the SUV shows that it was heavily damaged.

Police believe there may also be damage to the driver's side of one of two empty log-hauling trailers which the truck was towing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-22-TIPS.
