Driver arrested after Fort Frances collision

Police reported that no one was injured as a result of the collision.

FORT FRANCES – A Fort Frances man was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a vehicle after allegedly driving through a residential yard and striking another vehicle.

On Friday evening, members of the Rainy River OPP responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision. The reports said a driver had left the roadway, travelled through the front yard of a residence and struck a vehicle.

Officers arrested a 27-year-old male from Fort Frances for driving impaired and charged him with several highway traffic act related offences.

The OPP said no one was injured as a result of the collision.
