Disturbance leads to weapons charge in Dryden

A 37-year-old is facing charges following an incident over the weekend.

DRYDEN -- A report of a disturbance on Saturday morning has led to charges for one Dryden resident.

According to Ontario Provincial Police, officers responded to a disturbance on Saturday just after 11 a.m. that resulted in police locating brass knuckles.

Officers located the individuals involved in the disturbance and after further investigation officers found one individual to be in possession of brass knuckles.

As a result of the investigation, Devin BOUSFIELD, 37, of Dryden has been charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and failture to comply with prohibition order.

The accused was released from custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Dryden to answer to the above charges at a later date.
