KENORA - The COVID outbreak at Lake of the Woods Hospital has been declared over.
The hospital, in consultation with the Northwestern Health Unit, announced the outbreak to be over on Tuesday.
The COVID outbreak was originally declared on Aug. 30, which resulted in restricting visitors from coming to the hospital.
The hospital said the clinical planning team is reviewing the visitor policy and is asking people to follow the signage at the hospital or on the Lake of the Woods District Hospital website and official social media channels for the most up-to-date directions.
