DRYDEN – As the extreme heat continues over the Kenora district, Beyak Automotive Group and the City of Dryden are working together to provide the best spot to beat the summer heat at Rotary Park.

“It’s exciting to see us breaking ground after months of planning by our Facilities Manager Tyson Dennis, and the City of Dryden Staff” comments owner, Nick Beyak. “I know anticipation will be building among parents and children of the community as construction moves forward and nears completion. We will be updating our progress to the public through social media posts and look forward to the grand opening in mid-August.”

As part of the Beyak Automotive Group, Dryden GM provided the funding for the Community Splash Park.

The group is working hand-in-hand with Canadian-based companies, Openspace Solutions Inc. and Waterplay by MAKR, to facilitate the build.

The city is installing sewer/wastewater this week and will follow with granular preparation and forming.

Foundation work will start July 25th and will continue into early August, with completion expected in mid-August.

Upon completion, the City of Dryden will maintain and service the Splash Park.
