Collision on Arthur Street results in loss of life

Dryden resident pronounced deceased after motor vehicle collision.

DRYDEN – OPP has announced that on the evening of January 9, Dryden OPP, Superior North Emergency Medical Services and the Dryden Fire Department responded to a serious single motor-vehicle collision on Arthur Street.

According to the OPP, a 56-year-old male Dryden resident was transported to hospital in critical condition.

He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The OPP stated that an investigation into the collision is being conducted by the OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and OPP Technical Collision Investigators are assisting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
