ATIKOKAN – According to OPP Northwest Region, officers with the Atikokan OPP detachment received a call for service regarding a collision along Highway 11, 35 kilometres east of the Township of Atikokan in the afternoon on April 27.
Officers determined that the driver involved in the collision had been consuming alcohol.
As a result, a 25-year-old Thunder Bay was charged with impaired driving.
The accused has been released from custody and will appear before the court on June 27.
