IGNACE – Highway 599 is closed in both directions between Highway 17 and Highway 642 due to a collision.
The Ministry of Transportation announced the closure at about 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
There is no indication of any injuries, nor is it yet estimated how long the closure will be in place.
Police confirmed late in the afternoon that one person died in the collision.
