ATIKOKAN —A collision west of Atikokan forced the closure of both lanes of Highway 11 on Tuesday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police reported that OPP and paramedics were on the scene, but the nature of any injuries was unknown.
Police said the highway was closed between Flanders Road and Radio Tower Road until further notice.
However, a spokesperson said an alternative route is available via Highway 622 to Grey Trout Road, and across to Manion Lake Road.
