IGNACE — Provincial police issued a warning to a truck driver on the weekend after receiving a complaint about how a tractor-trailer was being operated on Highway 17.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon in the English River area.

Video posted on the Facebook page of Hwy 11/17 Kills People shows a tractor-trailer rounding a curve on the highway while it's completely in the oncoming traffic lane.

The driver turned back into his own lane just before meeting four other vehicles coming from the opposite direction, including another tractor-trailer.

An OPP spokesperson said members of the Ignace detachment responded to a complaint and conducted a traffic stop.

She said officers issued a warning to the driver under the Highway Traffic Act.
