City of Dryden supports Miller Northwest Limited and paving of Highway 17

Dryden City Council shared with residents that it has approved an exemption needed by Miller Northwest Limited in order to complete work for the city.

DRYDEN — At their regular scheduled meeting held by city council, on May 24, council provided Miller Northwest Limited a temporary exemption from restrictions of Chapters 132, Noise and 160, Pits and Quarries, of the Municipal Code of the Corporation of the City of Dryden.

This notice was shared with residents in order to inform the community that this exemption.

According to council this exemption “Will allow Miller Northwest Limited to carry out paving operations along Highway 17 and the two intersections on Duke Street, including the manufacturing of hot mix asphalt at the Sandy Beach Pit location.”

According to the city notice, this exemption will be in effect from June 5 until June 15, 2022, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 7 a.m., and is weather dependent
