KENORA—Kenora parking authority wants to advise residents that the colour of township parking tickets will be changing colour.
Right now, they are pink but they will be changing to yellow soon.
The township informed residents that it has partnered with HotSpot to issue a new yellow parking ticket for parking violations. City enforcement officers will create the yellow ticket on a portal device and print it on the spot.
Their Facebook notice added that the yellow tickets are valid and must be paid. Residents should be aware that there are a few old pink tickets left in circulation, and that if you receive a pink ticket for a parking violation; it still is valid and must be paid.
