ATIKOKAN — A complaint about a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner has left a Thunder Bay man with a suspended driver's licence and a date in court.
OPP received a report Monday evening that a motorhome had been observed "swerving all over the road" on Highway 11.
The responding officer located a vehicle near Aramis Lake, east of Atikokan, and conducted a vehicle stop.
After chatting with the driver, the officer determined the man had been drinking alcohol.
He failed a roadside screening test, and was taken to Atikokan for additional testing.
A 72-year-old man was charged with impaired driving, had his licence suspended for 90 days, and saw his motorhome impounded for seven days.
