KENORA: We all know Greg Rickford. It’s hard not to know. Rickford has been serving the Kenora-Rainy River riding as MPP since 2018 as the Minister of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry & the Minister of Indigenous Affairs Ontario.

“We’ve brought over three-quarters of a billion dollars worth of investments into the region. People know that in Greg Rickford they have a strong voice with experience and delivers results. Moving forward, we look forward to the opportunity to serve them.”

Greg has lived and worked in many capacities in northern Ontario during his professional career.

He is a former Member of Parliament for the riding of Kenora and served as a Minister of State for Science and Technology and the Minister of Natural Resources in the cabinet of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

He has worked as a nurse in many Northern Ontario and remote northern indigenous communities.

He owned his own business and held degrees in common and civil law from McGill University and an MBA from Université Laval.

When asked what he is planning to do for Kenora-Rainy River for the next four years, He had this to say:

“The message is clear. Only Doug Ford and I can get it done for Northern Ontario. We have a five-point plan to rebuild Ontario’s economy, working for workers, building highways and key infrastructure, keeping costs down, and plan to stay open. That’s what folks are asking for. That’s our five-point plan, and we are looking forward to continuing with that in the campaign.”
