Brick through church window lands mischief charge

Incident took place on Tuesday, April 15 in Kenora.

KENORA -- A 22-year-old Kenora woman faces a charge of mischief after she allegedly threw a brick through a church window. 

Ontario Provincial Police say the received a call at about 7 p.m. on April 15, notified that the accused had thrown a brick through the window of the house of worship and was trying to gain entry. 

Police located the suspect, who resisted police direction as she was being placed under arrest. 

The accused was charged with mischief under $5,000, resisting a peace officer and failing to comply with a probation order. 

The accused was remanded into custody and will appear in court at a later date.
