Break and enter charges laid in Fort Frances

Officers arrested one individual for unlawfully being in a dwelling after the owner called the OPP for service.

FORT FRANCES - Rainy River OPP responded to a break-and-enter call on Phair Avenue after the homeowner confronted a 44-year-old from Fort Frances for unlawfully being in the homeowner's dwelling.

After the confrontation, the individual left on foot and shorty police located the individual on the street near the residence.

The individual was arrested and charged with unlawfully in a dwelling house.

The accused was released from custody but is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court in October.
