Bicyclist faces trafficking charges

Dryden OPP has charged a resident with drug trafficking.

DRYDEN – According to OPP Northwest Region, a bicyclist was stopped by OPP officers on King Street in the afternoon on June 5.

During their investigation, officers seized suspected drugs including cocaine and methamphetamine.

As a result, a 49-year-old was arrested and charged with two counts of drug trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The accused has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the court at a later date.
