Beyak Automotive Group acquires Madsen GM in Sioux Lookout

SIOUX LOOKOUT – As Niels Madsen prepares for his retirement, the once family-owned dealership, will take on the Beyak name on Sioux Lookout. The dealership will join Dryden GM, Fort Frances GM, Sunset Country Ford and the Fort Frances Collision Centre as part of the Beyak Automotive Group.

“With sincere gratitude to Niels and John Madsen, I welcome the opportunity to bring their employees and customers into the family of the Beyak Automotive Group. The addition of Sioux Lookout GM will strengthen our organization and allow us to better serve customers throughout Northwestern Ontario for the exciting future in front of us,” says Beyak Automotive Group president, Nick Beyak.

Sioux Lookout GM won’t see many new faces as Beyak Automotive Group will still employ the same staff.

The Beyak Automotive Group announced that General Manager John Madsen will remain with the company in the position of executive director and general manager of Sioux Lookout GM.

Being a larger company, Beyak Automotive Group has access to many resources for the staff to help them in the future. These resources include human resources, marketing, and finance department to oversee that company’s growth.

The Beyak Automotive Group’s acquisition also includes improvements in quality customer service. Customers will be able to get more selection of new or used through Beyak Automotive Group. This will mean that for vehicles that are not in stock at the Sioux Lookout branch, there will be an option to find the vehicles at another location.

In addition, the part and service departments will also have the same option. If a specific part isn’t in stock at the Sioux Lookout location, those parts can be found in stock in one of the Beyak Automotive Group’s other locations across the region.

“Right now, they have one parts department at Madsen Motors. They will have that parts department in Sioux Lookout GM, but they will also have the parts department of Dryden GM and Fort Frances GM too. If a customer has a part that is hard to get, but someone has it in stock at the other dealerships, we can get that to the customer quickly to provide better service,” explained Nick Beyak.

The one additional benefit for the Sioux Lookout community is Beyak Automotive Group continued community involvement initiatives.

Previously, Beyak Automotive Group purchase a building in Fort Frances for the Gymnastics Academy where 300 athletes can now perform. In Dryden, Beyak Automotive Group fully funded the building of a community splash pad.

“We plan to bring those same philanthropic activities to Sioux Lookout. We look forward to supporting the community with those efforts as well,” said Nick Beyak.

The Beyak Automotive Group is excited to get to know the employees, customers and business partners in Sioux Lookout and looks forward to continuing to provide excellence in automotive sales, service, and community support.

The acquisition is in full effect as of June 1.
