Alleged B.C. drug traffickers returned to Dryden to face justice

Arrests were made in a multi-jurisdictional Joint Forces Operation

DRYDEN, Ont. — Two men from British Columbia are now in custody in Dryden to answer to charges related to the discovery of drugs during a traffic stop three years ago.

Members of the OPP Dryden and Kenora detachments with help from the RCMP's Fugitive Return Program and B.C. Sheriff Services travelled to B.C. to arrest the accused.

They are a 34-year-old man from Little Fort, B.C. and a 35-year-old from Clearwater, B.C.

Both are charged with possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and failure to attend court.

The pair remains in custody pending a court appearance in Dryden.
