IGNACE — OPP Northwest Region is reporting that officers with the Ignace OPP arrested one individual on the evening of Aug. 16.
As a result, a 33-year-old from Ignace was charged with spousal assault.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court in October.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
